Almost any subject, almost any category of knowledge has hints of the light that shines from its truths. But what about a special knowledge? What about a knowledge more valuable than one obtained through the ordinary methods of learning?
“For God, Who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6) The face of Jesus Christ is more than visage. It’s actually revelation. Jesus’ face reveals the depths of the personality of the Father. And God Himself is the initiator of this amazing lesson.
God sparked in our hearts His light, which causes us to crave to know Him more. He gave us the gift of Jesus, Who in turn, reflects to us the beauty of His Father. This knowledge is pure, eternal, and always worth attaining.
