Do I possess an incredible secret? Do I belong to an amazing society of like-minded humans? Am I a member of a powerful fellowship of people? Yup!
One disciple of Jesus penned this: “But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7) I’m part of a group that meets based on some simple and yet profound truths. And I fellowship with others by trusting these simple truths.
First, I walk in the light, just as Jesus is in the light. Second, I trust the blood of Jesus to cleanse me from all sin. It begins with me seeing the need to embrace truth and light. Then I need to apply that to my own personal life. Once these are in place, I am free to join this group…I’m part of this fellowship with others who walk in God’s light and love His redemption.
