In a world system built on the shifting sands of lies and deceit, can one actually find a rock-solid truth upon which to build a world view? Is this bedrock of certainty possibly found in a person? I say, “Yes!” Jesus clearly pointed out falsehoods and lies, while staking His very life on His claims to be the Truth. And yet even with the foundational truths of Christ, this world is a thoroughly confusing and distorting sphere.
And who is behind all this perplexity? There are many agencies and sectors of the banking and industrial society that may take credit for the confusion. But in my opinion, may I suggest the Trilateral Commission as one ingredient that compose the chaotic mixture of this world’s elements. The Trilateral Commission is a non-governmental, non-partisan discussion group founded by David Rockefeller in 1973. (Wikipedia/Trilateral commission) Although it would not claim to be a policy maker, it is assuredly a policy influencer.
One of its members, Richard Gardner stated the following: “The house of world order-will look like a great booming and buzzing confusion eroding (our current government) piece by piece.” Is this “booming and buzzing confusion” intentional? I believe that it is.
If I rewrote his quote loaded with definitions and synonyms, it would sound like this: “The house of world order will look like a booming (blaring, blasting, clamorous, deafening, piercing, thundering) and buzzing (swarming, teeming, thronging) confusion (state of being bewildered, perplexed, baffled, mystified, or disoriented) eroding (gradually wearing away, grinding away, crumbling, dissolving, or destroying) piece by piece (our current government).” Does this rewrite sound irritatingly familiar? Do we not all feel the weight of the cacophony of confusion that attacks our ears and erodes our minds?
So where is the original source of all this perplexing distortion? One scripture says where NOT to look: “God is not the author of confusion.” (! Corinthians 14:33) So if the confusion does not originate with God, then where? Jesus Himself gave a bold accusation in John 8:44 when He describes the Devil: “When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” Should we really credit Satan as the man behind the curtain? Is he really pulling all the levers and buttons and promoting his own brand of confusion through his puppets around the globe? I say, “Yes!” So, if Satan is the author of the confusion of mystifying and disorienting lies, then who is the solution? From where does the calm, peace, and truth emanate?
Let’s turn our eyes again to Jesus. He claimed to be, “the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6) A prophecy of Him refers to Jesus as the “Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6) and John the beloved spoke of Jesus during a future day, “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat on him was called Faithful and True…” (Revelation 19:11) Is Jesus Himself truly capable of bringing about the cessation of distorted perplexity torturing our planet today? I say, “Yes!” Jesus is the Truth. He is Faithful to fulfill God’s will of heaven on earth.
Though some may promote the agenda of the evil one to push a “booming and buzzing confusion,” others cast a steady gaze on Jesus and His hope for the future: one built on Truth, Calm, Clarity, and Peace. May I watch faithfully and pray always to focus on Jesus and His plan for Planet Earth!
