Garden Club Reflections- Wisdom's Cadence

In Proverbs 8:14, Wisdom claims, “Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding, I have strength.” Wisdom, as personified in Proverbs eight, is a beautiful picture of how having this valuable friend can influence our lives. The melodic cadence of this verse is also a thing to admire. It just sounds beautiful!

               May we embrace the opportunity to be mentored by this incredible friend, Wisdom. She loves those who love her, guides them, guards them. But be warned: she’s a formidable enemy, turning her gaze away from the plea of the foolish. Choose life. Choose Wisdom. Choose hope.
