Garden Club Reflections: Valuable Kingdom

Jesus shares further, “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.” (Matthew 13:45,46) Like on a mission, this merchant was intentionally seeking a treasure, a valuable pearl. Once he had discovered that once-in-a-lifetime gemstone, he knew it was worth any sacrifice to obtain it.

               Are we as diligent as this merchant? Are we faithfully pursing that most valuable of dominions, the Kingdom of God? May we dedicate our hearts and energies into the gaining of the reign of God.
