Garden Club Reflections: Kingdom Joy

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hidden in a field; the which when a man has found, he hides, and for the joy of it goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.” (Matthew 13:44) Some possessions are so valuable that any sacrifice is worth the gaining of them.

               The Kingdom is one such possession. Like stumbling upon a hidden, valuable treasure, the gaining of the Kingdom is worth the risk of investing in it. As we ponder this coming reality, may we be ready and intentional like this man in the parable. Let us seek the treasure of God’s reign. Let us invest everything to obtain it. Stay faithful, Kingdom citizens.
