Garden Club Reflections- Symbolism

Evil leaders and organizations have utilized symbolic gestures for millennia, this practice being brought forward by Solomon himself. “A violent man entices his neighbor, and leads him into the way that is not good. He shuts his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he brings evil to pass.” (Pr. 16:29-30) From holding their resting hands in a circle to secret handshakes, deviant humans make deals to harm the innocent.

               Although God shares secret truths with His children through His Word, He loves everything to be open, honest, and clean. Secret symbols that lead to wickedness and harm are contrary to His own clean and upright nature. May we shun secret evil and embrace transparent truth.
