Garden Club Reflections-Possess the Kingdom

Although things look bleak now, discouraging, hopeless, good times lay just around the next bend in the road. Daniel makes a beautiful prophetic promise, “But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever and ever.” (Daniel 7:18) Wow! How amazing is that?

               From Daniel’s foretelling, we get the idea that we will be actively participating in the gaining of the one-thousand-year reign of Jesus. This begins with honoring and promoting the kingdom of God in our hearts and lives, working for its good, and then seeing that blossom and morph into a heavenly kingdom, here on earth. Have hope, weary saints. Good times lay ahead!
