Garden Club Reflections: God's in Control

⁸ Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

⁹ He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and cuts the spear in sunder; he burns the chariot in the fire.

          Psalm 46,47,48 are a prophecy trilogy. In verses 46:8,9, we see Who is really in control. In all of the turmoil of an end-times judgment, only God is powerful enough to step onto the world’s stage and fix every aspect of humanity’s mess. From destroying weapons to enforcing peace, only God can right all the wrongs made by a selfish, power-hungry humanity. Let’s trust our powerful God!
