Sure! It really does SEEM logical, that after a year of exploring some new things in Scripture, that we should end the time delving into those new facets of the Christmas story.
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11) This “new announcement” is the first step in the offer of redemption for man’s sin curse. By offering the gift of a Savior, God also offers eternal life and a relationship with Him built upon reconciliation.
That new announcement fulfilled ancient prophecies and was a dream come true for all Old Testament saints who awaited the Messiah. May we embrace this truth in this season’s celebration.
