So, once we repent, turn away, and cast away our old ways, habits, and methods, where do we begin to create the new us? Let’s start at the heart!
“Cast away from you all your transgressions…and make you a new heart” (Ezekiel 18:31a) Once we’re repulsed by our own bad habits, we’re freed up to begin the process of making a new heart.
So, why are we to begin change within our hearts? Our hearts are the seats of our emotions. Our joy, our hope guides us to make beautiful decisions.
