Matthew 13:11,12
Jesus: “Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whoever HAS, to him shall be GIVEN, and he shall have more abundance”
The word “mysteries” in this verse refers to a secret, or specifically a secret shared only with members of an exclusive club or group. Jesus, in context, was sharing the meaning of His parables with His close followers that He was not sharing with the crowd. So, the question to ponder is, “Are we IN the club? In the family? Of the Body? Do we qualify to hear these secrets?”
Scripture has many mysteries, shared with those who have the Spirit as a Teacher and Guide. In this unsure era in human history, being SURE we qualify is a top priority. Am I? Are we? Would Jesus feel comfortable sharing His truths with our hearts? Let’s stay prepared, friends.
