Garden Club Reflections- Wisdom's Words

Just a step past having a secure relationship with Jesus, humanity’s next best life hack is having a working knowledge of the book of Proverbs, a truly valuable gift. In this incredible book, humans are offered an opportunity to be mentored by a powerful friend, Wisdom.

               And Wisdom tells us that absorbing her lessons are easier than paying the consequences of ignoring them. In Proverbs 8, when the author uses personification, Wisdom is offered as a female Mentor and Friend. Wisdom says, “All the words of my mouth…are all plain to him that understands and right to them that find knowledge.” (Pr. 8:8,9) It appears that outlook or perspective is vital to grasping the lessons of this Mentor, Wisdom. She declares that she’s speaking plainly, placing her advice within easy reach of the one with a teachable spirit. Let’s stay ready to learn, wise friends.
