Garden Club Reflections: Refreshing

In the prophecy trilogy of Psalm 46,47,48, verse 4 of the first chapter gives a glimmer of hope in a terrifying season. “There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.” Did you know that God offers Himself as a Resource of refreshing?

               During judgment, during famine, during pestilence, God is the Refuge, the Refreshing, and the Remedy. He IS what we need during any time of turbulence. Getting to know Him now, during a season of relative calm is a wise survival strategy. Do you know God? The Refuge? The Refreshing?
