Garden Club Reflections: Be Still

¹⁰ Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

          Psalm 46,47, 48 is a prophecy trilogy, mapping out the end times for humanity. In my opinion, Psalm 46:10 is often misunderstood. Although we should be still in God’s presence and acknowledge His sovereign influence over our lives, I see this verse as a decree from a peaceful God to a war-loving human race.

          After seven years of deception and turmoil, God will decree and enforce peace across the planet. This legal decree MUST be obeyed by the nations. People must submit to this law of love and peace. And God is powerful enough to ensure its compliance. Let’s trust our King to promote peace and His Son, the Prince of Peace.
